You started a business selling a quality product. To make it visible online, you take the first step to create a website displaying your business and product information. But later on, nobody enquire your product online.
You begin to find out what have been the issue. Is it because your product information is not convincing enough? Or is it because your website is not designed correctly? Or is there anything wrong with the contact form? You look very closely to any possible variables trying to solve the problems, but nothing is found.
I can guarantee, most of the time, it’s because your website doesn’t appear on search result. Who will buy from you if nobody knows you exist?
This is where SEO comes to play.

Otherwise, you could be missing out new business coming from the search engine.

Search Engine Algorithm Updates
Search engine world is an ever-changing world. The only constant thing in search engine is change. And most of the time, it is related to the change of algorithm.
Google is known to modify its search algorithm about 500 to 600 times annually. Though they are mostly minor updates, but making adjustment to your SEO strategy to suit the requirements are still suggested.
Major Google algorithm updates usually comes once in a while, but could cause a lot of modifications in the SEO strategy. Take the big changes in 2016 alone, Major updates of Possum on September 1, 2016 and Penguin 4.0 on September 23, 2016 has created quite a lot of stir in the SEO world.
However, as the biggest search engine player, any changes in Google algorithm are worth to be monitored. Your website visibility seems to be bound to tightly to follow the rules.

SEO is indeed important to serious bloggers. However at the end of the day, nothing beats regular good content!
You’re right. It’s all about content!
I am not really very knowledgeable about this SEO and a lot of terms are still unclear to me. I just write new content regularly and hope it works.

Thanks for your comment. 🙂
Practicing white hat SEO is still most ideal. Even if Google changes its algorithm, writing evergreen content will be a good move.
